Clinical Supervision
Why choose me as your supervisor?
I've always experienced supervision as a place of real support for my clinical practice: somewhere I can reflect openly and honestly about my work, seek ethical and professional guidance, feel challenged to grow, and continue to learn. Having worked with a variety of supervisors over the years, one of whom I have worked with for over 7 years, I have a good feel for the kind of space that feels motivational and encouraging...and what doesn't!

My aim as a supervisor is to provide a shame-free, reflective space for you to bring whatever might be going on for you in your work, to champion you, and bring gentle challenge to shine a light on any growth edges you may have.
How do I work as a supervisor?
The 7-eyed model
My training is with Robin Shohet and Joan Wilmot, who created the 7-eyed model of supervision.

This is a multi-faceted model of supervision aimed at learning, growth, and reflection which takes into account amongst others:

The relationship between you and your client;
The relationship between us;
Interventions used in supervision and with your client;
The wider context e.g. cultural and societal influences
My experience
My experience includes working in the third sector, Employee Assistance Programmes and via medical health insurance, along with my private practice, which I began in 2019 when I qualified.

Whilst I'm a humanistic counsellor, I welcome the opportunity to work with different modalities, especially if you've an interest in working with relational/complex trauma, and neurodivergence.
